What are the differences between TPR TPU TPE TPV TPO?

TPR is based on SBS. TPU is mainly divided into two types, one is polyurethane (solvent resistance, but not resistant to hydrolysis), and the other is polyether (hydrolysis resistance, but not solvent). TPE is based on SEBS. TPV is usually based on PP (polypropylene)/EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer), and TPV is based on PP/EPDM, PE/EPDM, PP/NBR, PP/ACM, PS/SEBS. The most common is PP/EPDM. TPO is based on petroleum resin and ethylene, acetic acid, vinyl resin

In a broad sense, TPR, TPU, TPE, TPV, TPO can all be called TPE (thermoplastic elastomer)

TPR, TPE is a styrene elastomer,

TPU is polyurethane elastomer

TPV is a dynamically vulcanized rubber

TPO is an olefin elastomer (Japan region)
