What is TPR material

TPR and TPE, there are differences on the concept of extension. TPE refers to the thermoplastic elastomer, is a general term for a wide range of materials, including polyolefins, polyesters, polystyrenes and other elastomers. TPR still has the material structure of SBS, that is, a physically crosslinked structure formed by a rigid segment of styrene and a butadiene segment of a flexible segment. The addition of other components has changed the physical properties of TPR materials, hardness and processing performance. The special physical cross-linking structure of TPR material enables TPR material to be processed by direct injection molding and extrusion without the need of vulcanization molding as conventional rubber, which greatly shortens the processing time (vulcanization of rubber is usually measured in minutes , TPR processing in seconds). 3.TPR part of the physical parameters: TPR material hardness range: ShoreA5 ~ 100 degrees; specific gravity 0.85 ~ 1.30; shrinkage of 1.5 to 2%; recommended processing temperature (injection molding, 140 ~ 180 ℃, extrusion 110 ~ 130 ℃) Elongation of 150 to 1000%. 4. Chemical Properties: The basic material of TPR SBS unsaturated double bond, the chemical stability of the material is poor, therefore, TPR material aging resistance, poor UV resistance, high temperature (temperature above 60 degrees) Not resistant to hydrolysis. TPR material impatience gasoline toluene and other organic solvents, and not acid and mineral oil. 5. Color TPR color material color, which is obvious in the toy industry. Widely used in household products, toys, shoes soles, auto parts, sealing materials, electrical accessories and so on. 8.TPR materials in the home industry TPR materials are rubber materials category, TPR excellent wear resistance, good elasticity, with anti-skid performance, and TPR environmentally friendly non-toxic materials. TPR materials are widely used in doors, window seals, bath mat, chairs, stool cushion lining, and wall decoration materials, such as decorative plates
